I don't care for the combo myself, but she's consistent. This was the best calzone either of us has ever had. The best. The crust was cooked to perfection -- toasted to just the right degree to have a bit if crunch brown, a little pull to the dough, perfectly salty, dusted with Parmesan. The ricotta tasted so fresh! And the amounts of mozzarella and ricotta were perfectly balanced. In fact, I loved it so much that I forgot to dip it in the marinara sauce! I can't imagine what I missed out on! We also ordered tiramisu. The espresso used to dip the lady fingers in was amazing. We'll be back to Charlotte three more times in the next six weeks! Guess we know where we'll be eating! ”
